About Me
Dear photographers,
I am a Dean's List student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a pre-medicine and Psychology double major, also studying for a certificate in Russian studies.
I used to hold a 6.0 rating in tennis, and had a national ranking. (Now I'm probably a 5.0.) I currently train every other day at the International Karate Federation, and compete actively in tournaments (and always win medals.)
As far as leadership goes, I am the Secretary for the Economics Club, founded the Hawaii Chess Club and the International Russia Study Group, and am a potential officer in the upcoming term for the National Psychology Honor Society.
I was born and raised in Tokyo, and thus speak Japanese fluently. I have taken two years of German at my university, and am also self-studying Russian and Spanish.
My career aspiration is to combine the clinical practice of neurosurgery with innovative neuroscience research.
I love dogs, and used to have a sweet German Shepherd.
Regards,
Amy Blackwell
