Natalie

Hey everyone! I'm Natalie and currently 20 years old. If you're at all confused by my photos, they are examples of "cosplay". Cosplay to me is the recreation of an existing character design from a Japanese anime, video game, movie, comic book, or American cartoon. I've been recreating cosplay costumes since 2004, and will be doing so for many more years. I travel around the US to various anime and video game conventions (primarily on the east coast) to meet other fans, celebrate my fandom, and compete with my cosplays. I do design my own outfits, and plan to construct some of them in the near future. My goals for the future are to become a professional seamstress/ costumer. Costuming and bead work are my passions, so we'll see where they both take me in the following years!

I really adore design and really bright funky colors and styles, so that's what I would like to primarily focus on. I am looking forward to getting tons of inspiration from this site, and from all the models, photographers and designers out there. smile

Currently I'm majoring in Theatre Design with a focus in costume design at a local university. I'm constantly building my portfolio as a stitcher and assistant costume designer for theatrical productions, and I've even begun doing bead work on wedding dresses! It's all so much fun, super sparkly, and keeps me very busy! <3
