“Alinta is not only an easy going, down to earth, extremely cooperative model, who is willing to get her hands dirty but also a rare beauty who can adapt to any situation while giving 110% to the vision. She is a true pleasure to work with and nothing is too much trouble. Her natural talent matches her high work ethic and she is much more than the girl next door, while not being above the smallest task or simplest idea. She maintains a very ‘real’ personality and beyond being just the ‘model,’ she has the creative mindset to be a great collaborative partner and her dramatic ability brings life to emotive ideas. I can only say good things about such a wonderful model.” Andrew - Natural Indent - Mayhem #1277783
"I have had the pleasure of shooting with Alinta twice now and I can’t wait to create some amazing imagery again soon.
Shooting with her is completely addictive. Alinta is a dedicated, professional and creative soul who not only shines in front of the camera but she also has an amazing 'eye' for detail and brings a lot more to the table for a shoot other than good looks.
Her poise in front of the camera is second to none her ability to read a photographers mind for the next pose/take is uncanny and very reassuring. It makes the whole process of shooting with her a thoroughly enjoyable one.
If you are a photographer and you haven’t worked with Alinta...then WHY NOT" Danial Gowans - www.cre8tivepixels.com - Mayhem #251763
"I've shot with Alinta a few times and it is always very easy and enjoyable and the results always of the highest standard.
She has a great unique look and working with her is a pleasure as she is a lovely person and will take the time to experiment and get things right. A model with such a calm unflustered manner just makes life so much easier." Dean Agar - http://www.deanagar.com.au - Mayhem #494471
"It was a pleasure to work with Alinta on a couple of occasions. She is a friendly and approachable model with a down-to-earth attitude. I appreciated Alinta's good humour, which was certainly required for less-than-comfortable shoots in places, ranging from a freezing beach at night to a filthy and cramped storm water drain! I would highly recommend her to any photographer." Tim 'Sibalin', Mayhem #562044
"Alinta is one of the most versatile models I've worked with, with perfect figure for both high fashion and body shots. Enthusiasm and an amazing face to match makes her a perfect package." Martin Valigursky - Dream Perceptions - Mayhem #53081
"I have worked with Alinta on several occassions.
As a model she is punctual, reliable, well groomed and extremely easy to work with.
She contributes when asked to and takes direction easily.
She is one of the few models who works hard with the photographer to break creative boundaries and I found her to be one of the more professional models in Brisbane.
I can recommend her to any photographer or agency that wishes to employ her" - Julian Zakaras - www.JulianZphoto.com - Mayhem #503145

I'm Alinta, I come to you as a professional model, digital photo retoucher (that's my day job)(taking after my grandmother who used to retouch images by hand in the 40's or so) and hopeful animal handler down at my local animal shelter. I am also a freelance writer/journalist (if you know anyone on the Coast who needs one... looks like I might have to move to Bris) and write album reviews for a local radio station, as well as being a news reader there. I am based on the Gold Coast (near Brisbane), Australia. I have 8 years theatre training experience (but I'm a bit rusty now), 6 years promo modelling experience and 3 years catwalk and photographic modelling experience but I am definitely trying to get away from the 'promo' work. I have worked with a great deal of amazing photographers in my short career and I am interested in alternative, glamour, artistic, gothic and fashion photography. Anything a bit edgy and different! I am also available for runway and acting. I have performed in contemporary plays on the stage but my training has been Shakespearean. I have modelled Kookai, Busstop Boutique, Romantic Rock Lingerie and Veve Swimwear (so gorgeous) on the runway. I have worked in promotions for Shooters and events for Versace. I have also worked as an artist's model as well as a hair model for various salons including Tsiknaris and George's in Brisbane, and others that I'm afraid I forget the names of now sad. The only modelling competition I've ever gone into was the 2009 Zoo Real Girls and I came in the top 10 in Australia.
As an art student, having done lots of work with photoshop and web design, and a bit of photography myself, I have a greater understanding of photography as a craft. I have worked as a crew member on photoshoots / independent films as a behind the scenes photographer and props and equipment handler. I am currently working as a photo editor for a national photography company, and last year finished my honours degree in electronic literature with First Class honours!
I have a history of theatre performing, so bringing character and attitude to the shot is most interesting to me. I love shots where body shape and colour is most important. I think my love for this stems from my love of contemporary dance and also contemporary theory about the body and anatomy (but just because I love it doesn't mean I can do crazy flexy poses, in fact I'm the most inflexible person I know, but I try my best). Please don't ask to do nude shots unless they are highly artistic (therefore the probability of them ending up in suspicious places on the internet is less likely) I have a huge admiration for artistic nude images, but not so much for mediocre nude images.
Very limited TF*. Very. Unless I have approached you, then of course I don't expect payment. I know what all the other models in my area look like, and I know they are all amazing, and I sometimes wonder how I can dare to charge someone when some other amazing models will do TF*, but I think after almost 3 years of being a 90% TF* model who does her own make up and hair when asked, and wardrobe and props and sometimes takes a day off work for the shoot which means I end up losing quite a bit of money who brings along accessories by the bucket load, it's time to recognise that the portfolio is full (100 photos for MM and there are still so many more I'd like to have in there) and I deserve a little cash lest I get over this expensive hobby of mine (modelling) all together, also the tax department is on my back as to why I have an ABN for a business that I make absolutely no money from :s plus I have four jobs (the radio, the photo editing place, the modelling, the writing, and volunteering with animals) and still bring home about $400 a week.... God I need to be in a different business haha. Other than being a poor student who lives with her dad, my new reason for no longer doing TF* is that I have a new dog that I saved from the pound who is relatively naughty and needs constant attention and chews up my house and tries to escape when I leave and there is no such thing as dog day care or govt. support for me having him sad hahaha. So I no longer have the time for free shooting unless I am at least reimbursed the money I have spent on hair, make up and spray tans, Plus I have to save up to afford to fence our property with an 8ft high fence :s
I am open to all sorts of creative ideas so drop me a line and I'll put the kettle on and talk some crazy stuff! I am approachable, friendly, sometimes timid, but never ever a spoilt girly princess type (but I can be if you like!). I have a pierced navel, which can be taken out if need be, and a tattoo on the back of my neck which is easily hid behind my long albeit thin hair. I have my drawbacks, I'm not perfect, but I try incredibly hard with what I have. I am willing to travel for the right shoot, but am wary of some offers (due to scams, which sucks for those who are honestly interested!).
Still unsure of the kind of person I am? Check out my lists to see what kind of photography I enjoy!
Cheers!

I now have one main make up artist who I like to work with and get my spray tans from, and that's Fiona from Facade Beauty. She has the best prices in the area for awesome tans and is a calming and lovely natured lady. I recommend her for make up for any kind of shoot as well as for bridal make up. Even if you are a photographer not necessarily wanting to work with me, but are looking for a reliable make up artist around the Gold Coast area, I'll happily give you her contact details, just let her know that the recommendation came from me.
I consider all the togs and MUAs that I've worked with to be definately some of the best around, all come recommended, and I felt comfortable and at home with pretty much all of them. I have worked with the following photographers (as well as a huge bunch of MUAs, hair stylists and other models who's section is currently 'under construction' (perhaps perminantly) on my site here as I am terrible with names). Feel free to contact me for testimonials. I've put their base cities/countries if you'd like to shoot with them.
