About Me
Hola! Thanks for stopping by :D This might be a bit more info. than you're used to seeing (sorry!), but I think it's important to provide a good snapshot of who I am and what I'm about in addition to what I look like.
BACKGROUND: I am done with college (Michigan State University Class of 2006), so I am finally able to focus entirely on modeling. I'm currently based in northern NJ but am willing to drive to neighboring states (provided I am given a little help with the gas money), particularly between MI and NJ to the west, i.e., PA, OH, NY. I'm also willing to fly anywhere, but unfortunately am unable to finance that myself at this time.
EXPERIENCE: I have worked with Playboy, been published in two of their issues, am featured on their main website as well as in their Cyber Club, and am currently pursuing more work in their Special Editions. I have spent the last six years shooting with various photographers in order to expand my portfolio and my experience as a model. I have done fine art and glamour (both nude and non-nude), fashion, lingerie, and casual. I have a lot of healthy, long hair that would look great in ads and a "one-of-a-kind behind" that was made for swimwear and lingerie. I am open to almost any type of assignment besides adult content for porn sites or any magazines "harder" than Playboy or Perfect 10. I am very interested in commercial and print work and am available for unique projects.
QUALITIES: I'm really not the average person, so natually I'm not the average model either. I'm intelligent and rational for one (lol), and very adaptable. I can acclimate easily to different situations, "moods", sets, etc. and have a multitude of looks. Luckily (for both of us), I not only look good all stylized and post-edited.. I'm also attractive in real-life (shocking!). I imagine I'd be a successful model if Photoshop didn't exist, but on the same token, there are a lot of pretty ladies out there. I feel that my personality blends with my physical features to set me apart from the crowd. I consider myself a jill-of-all-trades; I am fun, down-to-earth, creative, flexible (in both senses of the word), and I learn very quickly! I am just as suited for fine art B&Ws as I am to a wide range of alternative styles, like bright, bold, edgy shots, surreal unworldly stuff, or (mild) fetish work.
PROFESSIONALS: I look to work with photographers who are very talented (no amateurs please), whose work I admire and respect (i.e. tasteful, well-executed, etc.), who can bring out my natural beauty in a unique way while truly helping me display my range. I also expect that a make-up artist and hair-stylist will be provided for, regardless of the genre being shot. Even when it comes to TFP, the fact that no money is changing hands should not imply that either party should compromise their level of professionalism. If, for instance, what we do together is ultimately for our portfolios, then we should both work very hard to do our best because that is what portfolios are for! And besides, what if we get some great shots, and everything is on point except for mediocre make-up or simple hair? That's not fair to either of us. I enjoy TFP/TFCD and will do so on a very selective basis; however, I am primarily looking for paid work at this point in my career. It is not my intention to frighten away those who are not looking to or able to pay me! ..I just believe that I bring a lot to the table and deserve it. On the flip side, my availability for paid assignments is also discretionary; if I don't approve of your work or your skill-level is below what I'm seeking, no amount of money will encourage me to collaborate with you.
