About Me

I've been into photography since I was about 12, but didn't get big into it until high school. I focused mainly on nature until a few years back, then buying a decent point and click three years ago. I've just bought my first DSLR in September 2012, and it feels like I'm relearning the wonder of photography all over again. And I've got to say, I love it :)

I've been sticking to scenery, for the most part, this past year, to cleanse my palate, so to speak. I was doing shoots with friends with my point and click for about two and a half years and I've learned quite a bit.

I've deleted my old photos on here, so if you've seen this profile and wondered where my photos went, that's why. I don't want too many of my point and click photos up when I don't use that camera anymore!

I prefer outdoor shoots, unless we can think of an appropriate indoor setting for the shoot. I don't own a studio or have enough space at home for a proper shoot scenario and I always enjoy the outdoors, anyhow! Nothing better than natural light, in my opinion :D

I do my photos only for the enjoyment of photography and the experience, currently. So if we do any photos together, I'd rather not pay anyone OR receive payment for what I do. I burn all the photos (originals and the resize/edits) to cd. Since I'm only looking to shoot photos for fun and experience, I'll leave your prints up to you to do. Meijer offers prints in my town that I can get for you, if you are unable to do so yourself.

I'm a photographer who desires the model to speak up about ideas and wants for our shoots. I don't want a mindless lump of clay; I want a thinking, breathing individual who will speak up and work with me on our masterpiece. I feel a shoot is 50% model thoughts and 50% photographer thoughts.

Want to step in front of my camera, message me! :)
