I am also listed on the 2nd Photographer list in the Model Mayhem Forums that will devote time to models in Mississippi

For all that do not know, I recently returned to college after working at a daily newspaper for 6 1/2 years. I am a 26-year-old person seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Project Management. After graduation, I will continue the education route to graduate school and completed a Masters of Business Administration so that I can teach college courses.
I will tell you that I work at a community college while pursuing my education and the reason I am continuing my education is due to leaving with 36 hours left on a journalism degree for a full-time job.

During my time at the daily newspaper, I completed an Associated of Arts Degree in Journalism in the spring of 2003 before committing the majority of my time to the newspaper business. In 2003, I started producing the sports for the sister paper in addition to my full-time job at the daily. Also in that same year, I took over the newspaper’s website before giving it all up and returning to the college ranks in the spring of 2008.
I am versed in contacts throughout the media world, layout and design and website design – but I left that business when I accepted my new career so I only dabble in it now.

I have had the honor of winning numerous Mississippi Press Association awards as well as APME awards including stories I wrote about life in Mississippi.

I was once TASERed in pursuit of a story about a local police force having to go through the training to receive the non-lethal weapons.

If you have any questions, I am more than welcome to provide inquisitive persons with answers.

I do require that a model release be signed for each shoot including TFP/TFCD -- this is to cover my own butt and with the new 2257 regulations in effect, a copy of driver’s license to prove proof of age for records might be require depending on the photos that are taken.

I tend to stay in northeast Mississippi for photos and think that this portion of the country is a great place to do photographs. If you are in the area, please feel free to tell me and we will see if we can set up a shoot.

Please feel free to contact me through the Model Mayhem system and we will try to work something out on possible shoots and other inquiries that you may have. I require the initial contact to be made through here so I can screen out the scams and that way I do not end up on some email list that I do not need to be on.
