About Me
Hello and Welcome to my site. I'm Melanie, a fun, bubbly girl who's 27-and both looks and acts young. I am very sincere about modeling and I love to have fun with my shoots. I like to explore different possibilities and aim to try what no other photographers and models are trying. I have a ton of acting experience including various theatre training and experience. My previous training includes Certification at Equity Showcase's 10 month intensive acting program, 1 year completion at Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, Levels A&B at Second City Improv, among other classes, such as Showoffs Studio for Performers and Witz Training Certificate in Communication Skills. I currently run an image consulting business-Hayden Image Consultants.
I will respond back to all emails sent by photographers. Generally, I respond back to emails within 48-72 hours. I am also very interested in working with amateur photographers. Ultimately, I rather enjoy working with photographers who are very passionate about the whole business, experienced or not.
Rates, although can be considered a huge hinderance, I feel they are more of a result of a photographer's desire for a "particular" model. I love this whole business and I aim to achieve a comfortable scenario between the photographer and myself.
Therefore, fair rates are $15/hr for casual, fashion, editorial, glamour, and $40/hr for lingerie. I am open to flat rate shoots. There is a minimum of 2hrs/shoot, that is probably the least amount of time to get some good quality pix in.
I like to meet with each photographer initially to discuss their interests for the shoot, their goals, and what has inspired them to get into photography. This also gives the photographer a chance to ask me any questions they have and potentially I can bring some outfits on this meeting to get a few ideas to sit on before the shoot. The more I understand regarding the wishes of the photographer, the better I can be prepared for the shoot. My reputation is very important for this industry. Therefore, I also will state to you that I will show up to all scheduled shoots and initial meetings. I am extremely reliable.
TFP is offered for casual/headshots/fashion shoots. I don't offer TFP for lingerie shoots, and I don't offer TFP lingerie in another TFP setting, just simply because there is a huge paid market for the latter types of shooting.
