About Me
Ms Glitz N Glamor has been involved in the entertainment industry from a very tender age, has won a few pageants, and has made guest appearances on shows like Kimora Lee-Simmons "Life & Style TV", Mystik Annual Fashion Extravaganza, etc. She is the reigning "Ms. Ebony New York USA" (crowned in 2006), and will be representing the State of New York at the 1st ever National Ebony pageant to be hosted in Los Angeles, California at a date to be announced later.
Over the years, she has coupled her talent with acting for both Film & Stage, and as a freelance TV Correspondent. Ms Glitz N Glamor is certified by the Hollywood Film Institute as a Cinema Director, Line Producer and Feature Film Producer. In addition, she has had extensive training at TVI Studios in New York, in the areas of Acting and TV Commercials. As a screenwriter Ms Glitz N Glamor has completed several movie scripts.
In the line of movies, she had small roles in: Carlito's Way, The Interpreter, etc. and a few Independent Films. As a TV Correspondent Racquel was privileged to interview icons such as: CIN TV's Stephen Hill, Leon (Actor), Capleton, Sizzla, Luciano, Damion "Junior Gong" Marley, Tonya Stevens, Half Pint, Marcia Griffiths, Bascom X, Frankie Paul (Reggae Artistes), Machel Montano, Rupee, Kevin Little (Soca), just to name a few.
Social events she has covered: 24th, 25th & 26th International Reggae and World Music Awards (2005-2007) held at Columbia University and the Apollo Theater respectively, and other exclusive interviews.
Her basic skills includes: Flight Attendant, Make-up Artist/Independent Beauty Consultant, Hair Stylist, Interior Decorator, Cook, First Aid, CPR, Weight Lifting, Swimming, Automobile (Manual & Automatic), Basic Spanish, Computer Proficiency.
Racquel is available for public appearances (TV/Radio, etc.), extensive modeling/acting work, etc.
