We're excited to announce that Candace Rae has joined the Miss Online team as C.O.O and Talent Director. Candace has also agreed to be "The Face" of Miss Online and will appear in several website promotions.


Effective immediately Candace will assume the role of handling the day to day management of Miss Online. She will also be a valuable resource to aspiring models of Miss Online. Candace will lend her time answering questions and giving feedback to existing members.

Candace was born in Winnipeg, Canada, but she’s a real world traveler. She’s lived in Bermuda, Malaysia, and Australia. Her exotic looks are a reflection of her French and Italian descent.
Presently, Candace is a professional model, web hostess, fashion designer and all-around cool chick.
In less than two weeks, Candace achieved the top ranked blogcast on www.Blogtv.com. She has gained representation from Ingenue Model Management, which is one of the premiere model marketing and management companies in Las Vegas. This will open the door for her to do more print, commercial and catalog modeling as well as spokesmodel work, event hosting and more.


THE GIRL GETS AROUND THE GLOBE

While living in Bermuda, Candace turned a temp job into a full-time gig assisting the leader of a Political Party, allowing her to see firsthand how politics works. She left Bermuda to pursue her dream of establishing a clothing line in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but she continued to serve as the Party's webmaster from the other side of the planet.

One day Candace discovered the website www.Savvy.com and joined the online community. People at Savvy quickly fell in love with her vivaciousness and her modeling career was launched after Savvy flew her to Atlanta to do a photo shoot for the site.
Soon after this, Candace was hired by the company to be its spokesmodel and web hostess. Recognizing she was more than just a pretty face, Savvy put Candace in charge of art direction, deciding which models to hire and how their photo spreads should look.
Candace left Savvy in June of 2008 to pursue other opportunities in modeling and publishing, including the launch of her own website www. Candacerae.net (soon to be release) and designing her own line of lingerie, Bachami.
This is one lady who isn’t afraid of jet-setting and she looks to travel as an opportunity for more adventure.

THE SWEET CHAMELEON

You might think Candace has achieved success by being ruthless and highly competitive, but the opposite is true. She actually networks with others in the modeling industry to help them achieve the same type of success as Candace is enjoying.
“I want to network with make-up artists, photographers, stylists and other models who want extra exposure. I would love to hear from them,” she said. “I’m a model who can also contribute to concepts and looks because of my experience working as an art director and fashion designer for Savvy.”
She said she wants to try all avenues of modeling. A bit of a chameleon, Candace can do looks as varied as high fashion and pin-up glamour.
“I constantly push myself to do other styles. I take criticism well, as this is the only way one can learn. If you are looking for a model who is less than 100 pounds, please move on. I don’t believe I need to stick my fingers down my throat to get a job. I know modeling isn’t easy. We in the industry are here to make a mark and to create something that makes people want more of it. I have an extreme passion for everything that goes into creating an image as I have worked on all levels of the production of a photo shoot,” she said.


OVERCOMING OBSTACLES

When you meet Candace for the first time, you wonder where her effervescence comes from. What has she been smoking or drinking to be so hyper, so joyful and so much fun?

“I’m high on life, mate!” the often-giggling strawberry blonde said.
You wish you could have a girlfriend just like her, or at least bottle up some of that energy.

Life thus far has been an amazing adventure with all of its peaks and valleys. If you want to know why Candace is so full of life, you need to know a little bit about the life that nearly wasn’t.
At age 22, Candace was told by doctors that she wouldn’t live to see her next birthday.

“I determined that if I made it out of that hospital bed, I was going to live my life differently. I realized that people should embrace life with positivity because you just don’t know when you could be cut down and your life ended. It could have ended for me at 22,” she said.

God, karma, or whatever you want to call it, decided to cut Candace a break.
“The universe is a funny thing. The doctor who helped save my life just happened to come in to the hospital when I was there and just happened to have seen my condition before,” she said.
Today, Candace is healthy and more determined than ever to achieve her dreams.
