I'm a vintage girl with a love of old-fashioned glamour. I model for the love of the Golden Era - it's a natural progression for me as I am devoted to the styles of the time. I dress in an early 1940s to very early 1950s style every day. I'm pretty nifty with vintage hair and makeup, which I also sport daily, as well as having an ever-expanding wardrobe of vintage and reproduction clothes, underwear and accessories.
I have done all my own makeup and styling in all my pictures, except where indicated otherwise.
*****I am now not doing much more TF* work until at least the end of summer. I am poor, I have about 12,500 weddings and hen weekends to attend, and my portfolio is looking very full at the moment. However, if you have an exceptional idea, an absolutely killer location, something interesting with a creative team or a trunk full of your granny's clothes, undiscovered since 1942; then I could definitely be persuaded! *****
Shoots I am most interested in doing are:
Film Noir style
1940s location/lifestyle shoots
40s and 50s Cheesecake Pinup (Photoshopped to look like the art of Elvgren, Vargas, Pearl Frush)
Unusual or surrealist concepts with striking makeup/hair/styling
I am always interested in creating striking and memorable art, or authentically vintage pictures. But if you have anything interesting you think I would work for, please get in touch. I will always reply, even if it is to decline, as there is nothing worse than being ignored!
Other information:
I have a car and am prepared to travel a reasonable distance for the right shoot. But, if you approach me for TFP, I will expect a contribution towards petrol costs if it's going to leave me out of pocket. I appreciate your equipment costs a lot, but so do my clothes!
I do work full time and generally can only shoot on weekends, but, workload and holiday allowance permitting, I will make exceptions for, well, exceptional offers. If you're offering a paid or part-paid shoot I'm sure I can be more accommodating!
I do not do, and am not interested in ever doing, nudes, artistic or otherwise, glamour or fetish.
I have two tattoos, one set on my lower hips which are covered in all my vintage work, due to the high waistlines of the time, and a small one on my back which is easily photoshopped out. I am not planning any more at the moment! I have some small scars from old piercings, and my earlobes are stretched, but I now have a good collection of vintage earrings which disguise them. I was a teenage metaller, what can I say?
