I am spine, ribs, neck, contortion. Weird is king. Pretty is arbitrary, but beauty is important.
I love images with a certain honesty to them, the definition of "honesty" having a wide berth. But do your best to preserve my imperfections and I will love you for it.
Things that inspire me include:
Desperation and gambling, religious iconography, androgyny, raw meat, carnivals and freakshows, crazies and shut-ins, the American west, burnt-out industrial infastructure, military pageantry, classic firearms, non-Newtonian fluids and that certain blue-green patina that copper takes on after a few decades...
I have ideas for shoots based around most of these.
Talk to me for specifics. I'm currently seeking photographers who can help me realize my concepts, and generally just people with whom I can build creative, collaborative relationships.
