Southwest Photography

Would like to thank those of you who have spent time with me in downpours, hail, blistering heat, and occasionally warm sunlight, and sticking with me, shoot after shoot. Also hats off to the illuminating photographers I've befriended and learned from along the way.

Stylistically I'm a bit of an iconoclast. Don't much care for slogans or clichés, verbal or visual. So you won't find me attaching angel wings to guys, and you won't hear me saying "photography is a window to the soul."

I have been photographing people since I graduated with a fine art degree from Dartmouth College in 1974; I rely on stormy weather and a handful of cameras, including my Canon EOS Mark III 5D, and the Leica M240.
