With many years experience teaching photography within the education sector I felt starved and couldn't do what I wanted, got lazy and never moved or worked outside the school environment. I was made redundant recently so I decided to get back into photography and start to regain the passion that I once had.

I've decided to move towards the modelling/art side of things as I always found that most interesting and challenging but I have a lot to learn and knowledge to gain within that side of the industry (so any feedback would be grateful). I like to think I create a scene/story with my photos and try not to use Photoshop to gain that extra 'wow' effect (not saying that's wrong).

A little about me: I have a full extended DRB certificate (was CRB) and public liability insurance; I have worked in television as a producer/director, been a radio DJ (won an award in 2007), had my work published in magazines, newspapers, photos broadcasted on television and mentioned on local radio.

After being made redundant (as I mentioned) I decided to finally do something that I was passionate about and that was to open my own studio (it's not the largest studio but it works) to help other photographers/models and students - my studio opened on the 4th July 2014.

I enjoy working with other photographers and learning new skills and ideas, therefore my studio is always open for them to use for their private work or workshops (happy to collaborate or syndicate). This includes models wanting to use my studio (happy to do TF) and those who share the same passion, I look forward to working with new friends on here, which will also help me learn and progress.
