Being of a bi-racial background (black & philipino) I appreciate the differences of both cultures, while celebrating both at the same time. I took Japanese in high school and currently work with Japanese students as a International Peer Advisor (IPA) at my college of which I have been doing for the past 3 years. I am currently a senior at Western Washington University and will graduate in 2009 with a degree in Business Information Systems. I had an opportunity while visiting Japan for a month this past summer to do a photo shoot for Nike and my ad currently appears in department stores all over Japan, and I also shot a two page spread (inside cover & 1st page) for New Era Magazine wearing one of their ball caps while also in Japan. It was recommended that I should look for opportunities when I returned to the states. I am also very athletic and enjoy basketball, football & especially martial arts including Muay Thai kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu. I am very close to my family which includes my mother, father and younger sister. My hope is to expand my exposure and marketability in the print media and if other opportunities come about I would be honored to look at those too.
