I thanks you guys for taking the time to review my page. For those who may not know me or is not familiar with my face, My name is Sophia Rosado and I'm a professional model from New York. I have been in this business for 4yrs now and loving every minute of it.. I believe there are many to see me fail but a woman like me will not give up my passion for modeling.. It all began when my grandmother told me I had the looks and height to become and fashion model.


I was totally a tomboy in my teenage yrs but after having my sister (Sarah Rosado) who was my personal photographer at the time, took most of my modeling photos and got more and more comfortable in front of the camera I was seriously comfortable with my own skin.


Tara Banks has been my main influence as a model and as a person. She is a strong black woman who exudes the right attitude to make it in this business. I never miss her show "America's next top model" and I especially listen to her criticism of the contestants because It helps me to improve myself.. If we look at all the modeling magazines today, we usually see the typical size 3, tall, blond, blue eyed model. It is to my advantage that the urban look is rising these days. The type of females being sought have voluptuous bodies such as myself.. In the beginning I thought It was just walking down the aisle or just posing in front of a camera. I learned that It takes a lot of practice and effort. You have to really love what you do in order to overcome all the obstacles that come with a modeling career.I am very proud on how far I've overcome in this industry and it doesn't stop here. I've been in various urban magazine's such as Straight Stunning mag, ASIS Mag, Floss mag, Mass appeal Mag, The Source and Don Diva just to name a few.. I've made shows appearance with "Big Tigger" on BET for 106n park who I party with major high profile like, Young Jezzy, Omarion, Bow wow, Julez Santana, Lloyd, Terrence, Jermaine Dupri, Remy Martin, Fat Joe, Paul Wall, Pit bull and also had a blast at BET "Rip The Runway" and Music Video for Manio/Nore remix "my life is a movie" Cheri Dennis "I love you" Julez Santana "Whistle" just to name a few.
