About Me
Tia Lipscomb is beautiful inside and out. Tall and striking, she stands out in a crowd. With perfect measurements, she can sport every fashion from casual to couture.
Tia signed with The Helen Wells Agency, Inc., hired an acting coach and started her career in 1997 at the age of 9 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She constantly auditioned and went to "go sees" and landed jobs doing print ads, commercials and a small movie role.
In 1998, she entered a local model scout event. She was selected and went on to Chicago Illinois to compete with applicants from several states. Ten top agencies from New York interviewed her. Wee Willy's (Kids Wilhelmina) and Frontier Bookings International (FBI), wanted a second interview. Finally, she was awarded a one year contract with FBI and spent the summer in NYC auditioning, going to open calls and "go sees".
At the end of summer Tia went back to Indy and continued working there. In the meantime, her family moved to Orlando, Florida in 1999, hoping to find opportunity there since she didn't get her big break in NYC. In Orlando, it was hard to find an agency that didn't want money in advance so Tia continued to enjoy her childhood. She enrolled in acting classes at the Orlando Civic Center and got a part in the children's production of "Rent". Later she auditioned for a local fashion show and was chosen to do runway for JC Penny's and Seventeen Magazine.
Ten years later, Tia is ready to pick up where she left off. So look out world Tia is back! She is ready to be signed, she is ready to work and she is ready to make it happen!!
