Nick Johnson

I am a photographer based in Eugene Oregon specializing in artistic nudes and stylized portraiture. I shoot frequently in Eugene, Portland and southern Oregon. Much more of my recent work can be seen on Deviant Art @ www.nick-johnson.deviantart.com

I've been shooting professionally since 1999. My focus is primarily on fine art and conceptual nude images, with book publication being the ultimate goal. I shoot images that while sexy and sometimes provocative, are of a nature that most models would still be proud to show their families and friends. I shoot for the wall and the printed page, not the web. I do not shoot for or sell images to adult content providers, and I respect models limits. I'm a no pressure kind of guy, and pride myself on my ability to keep models comfortable and make shoots fun. I do not mind working with new models and give lots of direction and feedback while shooting.

Any of my top 12 friends can be contacted for references, as they are all people who I have worked with or know personally. I would also recommend any of them as well.

I primarily do not pay models unless I am shooting for a third party client. If I am able to sell a print or a stock image I try to make every effort to split the proceeds with the model, as long as I am still able to contact you. I absolutely will not shoot sets for suicidegirls. I will not shoot blood and gore images. I will consider TF* portfolio building shoots for fashion, lifestyle and swimwear images in exchange for participation in my art projects.
