About Me

Born and raised on Oahu I feel blessed to have such an amazing backdrop to shoot against. For me photography is an adventure. It's something to explore and discover and am continually amazed at what happens when I look through the lens.

I work primarily in nudes that focus on the connection between ourselves and the nature that surrounds us. But I'm always thinking of new ideas to play with. Because of that I find that my art and craft is constantly evolving and growing. I'm not sure where all of this is going and I don't really want to know either. I find that it's the journey that's fun not the end result.

** New Project** At the moment I'm working exclusively on a nude art book project with the proceeds being donated to an AIDS research organization. The project features all body types, shapes and sizes, both female and male, pretty much anyone who wants to be a part of it. If you'd like to donate your time for a quick shoot and TFCD, it will be much appreciated and for a good cause!

"Jason Tag is a photographer I couldn't miss. Not only because of his tribute to the feminine forms in outstanding natural settings, or his deep respect for his models, or his confirmed talent... Jason Tag is more than that : a man shooting for peace and harmony in a violent world."
- Chris St. James, European editor for Carrie Leigh's NUDE magazine

"It's easy to become immersed while wandering through Jason Tag's book 'Discovering The Feminine'. Against the backdrop of Hawaii he's captured a relaxing atmosphere that blends perfectly with the tropical surroundings His ability to combine the female form in nature is absolutely mood inducing. This is a 'must have' work by an artist with a unique appreciation for beauty and understanding of our connection to nature."
- David Winge, American art nude photographer and contributing editor for Univers d' Artistes

"With his image choices and, the most important thing in a photobook - "the flow" (the sequence of the images/pages) - Jason managed to create a book far away from what others call it "cliché"."
- Vernon Trent, Photographer and Artist
