About Me
'Handicapped' - what kind of a field is that?
I'm not an 'off the peg model' - I have a disability following a car accident in 1998. Sometimes I won't be able to travel for shoots, and sometimes I won't be available at all, due to surgery, rehabilitation and so on. My first commitment is to look after myself, so when I am available to shoot I will be at my best.
Other limitations include serious scaring and skin grafts on my right leg. I now have 2 Ilizarov frames fitted, one to my femur (picture in profile) and another to my right tibia. These will be in situ until March 2004. Throughout 2004 I will be undergoing less serious operations to reduce areas of scaring on my leg.
I model for the finished product, not for financial gain, and not recognition. I enjoy working on concepts, either my own or those of the photographer. My feelings regarding nudity therefore depend on the nature of the shoot.
