About Me
My name is Chuck Ogden, I recently began shooting in the wet plate collodion process. The process was invented in 1851 by Sir Fredrick Archer. The image is shot on tin (tintype) or glass (Ambrotype). This process was used throughout the Civil War and beyond due to it's inexpensive nature. Most of my current images come from reenactors, but I look forward to working with other models as I find the wet plate process to posses a quality that can not be found with any other process!! It has been a real challenge and very addictive. I will post images as they become available.
