The Photography Genius

My career in photography began, not coincidentally, at the same time that I discovered graffiti art, not simply as an activity but as a lifestyle. I’ve managed to maintain that lifestyle at the core of my work consistently throughout my career as a graphic artist and photographer over the past ten years. Whether it's immediately prevalent in my work or not, it's at the roots of my growth as a visual artist. I never wanted my art to be a byproduct of style but my style to be a byproduct of my art. For that same reason I prefer to shoot "on-location" as it tends to give the photos a much purer and more organic feel.

Now we all know that our doctors have to continually supplement their original training in order to give the best quality care to their patients. Most of us would not feel comfortable with a doctor who did not keep up with the latest advances in medicine. I’m one of the members in the visual arts community, who is deeply committed to my art and craft and realize the importance of "lifelong learning" and stay dedicated to my continual growth as an artist. That is why you may notice a variety of styles exhibited in my portfolio.

Bottom line I do this because I enjoy it, so if you go on shoots in all business mode thinking you're gods gift to this earth, we probably wont enjoy working with each other. I take my work seriously as I hope you do the same, but I try to loosen up and have a level of fun while I am doing it as this is a creative process.
