Zara Durrani was born to entertain.This international beauty was born and raised in Pakistan, appearing in any and every school production from a young age. She also spent her childhood in Thailand, Turkey, and Singapore, then found a new place to call home in Vancouver, Canada, one of the top entertainment cities in the world.
By age 20, Zara quickly made a name for herself in modelling. She has appeared as a runway model for Enviro Couture, AfriCouture, Zainalli Bridal, Urban Wear and annually at Vancouver Fashion Week, propelling her to becoming a prominent figure in the Vancouver Fashion industry. Her work expanded internationally, modeling for Lotus Wear, Kokanee, Perfect Wedding Magazine, Hugo Boss and Sonja Picard Jewelry (as seen as the 2008 Oscars). Zara has worked with many photographers including Joe McNally, a worldwide acclaimed American photographer.
Zara also has also her feet set firmly in the film industry. She has trained with prominent acting coaches like Fiona Hogan, who was trained by famous acting coach Ivana Chubbuck. She has appeared as lead in a rendition of Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park", a cameo in " Dead Hooker in a Trunk", shown at Sundance Film Festival, as well as lead in Business is Murder for the Vancouver Asian film Festival. She has also given her talent as guest speaker at Desifest, runway model for FMA's Make Poverty History fashion show, and has given her own fashion clothes and shoes to charity. She is beautiful, talented, and professional, making her not only a model but a role model.
Zara is always interested in creating beautiful photos with talented individuals. She wants to create photos that tell a story, are dreamy, enchanting, sensual and passionate. Zara has an amazing ability to transform herself with each look, each character, each outfit/location. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty, as to say or think outside the box. Most of all her work speaks for itself, and she is forever greatful to the amazing artists she has had the opportunity to collaborate with.
