About Me

http://www.daxphotography.com (dedicated site)

In my life the balance that exists between art and medicine lies within the subject matter. The human form has long since been the focus of the medical realm, but it has also become the center of my artistic vision. Throughout my life I have always viewed the human body with a sense of reverence and awe, which has translated into a passion to explore all aspects there within. Through this quest I have not only acquired a greater appreciation of how the human body functions, but also learned that bodies are more than just organs and a series of chemical reactions. I came to the realization that there is no deeper way of understanding the human body than to be a patient or clinician, and no deeper way of understanding the human consciousness than to be an artist. Subsequently, the human form invariably is the focus of my work in the medical realm and permeates my work as a fine art nude photographer.
