I've been shooting seriously for about 20 years, the last 7 with digital, and now do some commercial work mainly advertising and product photography.

This side is more of a release for me, but as a freelance photographer, I understand the pressures that go with the job. I'm naturally quiet, but I enjoy working with people and find that on a one to one basis a different persona comes out of me. I enjoy post processing just as much as getting the raw images themselves and I like to think when I press the shutter I have a good starting point or the “real image”.




I have access to a large private studio with room sets, industrial internal, and external sets, decay and old stairwells, and loads of other props and backgrounds, in the middle of Derby - just a short hop from the rail and bus stations.

If you are interested in or would like experience in this form of modeling and willing to work on a TF/CD/P collaboration basis, especially for new lighting and pose tests, then you are very welcome to get in touch as I need to update my work regularly. Due to client confidentiality of most of the commissions I undertake, I am usually unable to display any images from these commissions, therefore I am looking for models who are willing to allow posting of images on these and my new web pages.




Some (test) images may require very tasteful Fine Art nudity as part of the test shot therefore, preference will be given to those models who are particularly interested and comfortable in this style of work but, they can be assured, that only high quality images will be taken and posted to a free section on my new website with a link to your MM page will be set up.

Though of course I will be looking to pay certain models who I wish to work with - especially those with their own creativeness and spark.

Current areas of interest:- Pin ups, Pin ups, Pin ups, 40's 50's cinema, era.....Tattooed girls - Gothic and alternative - Portraiture and Fashion Mono and low light photography High Key fashion/Retro Location work - something urban and edgy.

My "gear" consists of Nikon D2H, D1X, a pair of D200's D100, and other than my new 10/20mm zoom, all Nikon 2.8 glass, with countless others ............F5 F2 F3 F100 F90 ......5 Flash units......loads of studio gear.
