Hi Everyone! My name is Socheata ["Cheetah"]. I am a makeup artist turned photographer. I've always appreciated a pretty photo and have been to numerous of photo shoots, and decided I'd like to be on the other end of the camera. I am definitely new to all of this, but I'm learning so much with every photo session. I may not know all the science to photography yet, but I know what I like and I know what looks good. I work at a modeling agency called Chic Models based here in Los Angeles. I see plenty of headshots, comp/ZED cards everyday so I know what agents look for. Bottom line.
I like to be hands on and I like to give my models direction. I've seen too many photo shoots where the models and photographers don't connect and the situation becomes quite awkward. So if a model is lost about poses or expressions to do, I will definitely help out.
Currently, I am working with natural light and as soon as my budget allows, I will start getting experimental with lighting techniques and maybe crossover into more editorial photos.
