My name is La Meika Draughn and i'm 21 years old. Modeling has been something i've been wanting to do for a long time. I love the kind of energy thats behind it all. I hope to become a big role model like Tyra Banks. She has been someone i've looked up to because she's very strong-minded and ambitious. I want to accomplish many things as she's done. I haven't had a lot of experince but thats why it's important to me to meet the right people so i can gain the experience. I've done three fashion shows and three photoshoots. I'll be doing another photo shoot pretty soon. I love how you can look at my pictures and see the fire in me. I use to be very self conscious and you would never think that by looking at my pictures. I feel that i need more creativity only because i don't want all my pictures to look the same, at which i'm willing to do whatever it takes to be creative. I know my trade mark is my smile but i don't want to have a commercial look either. I want to be taken serious as a model. I believe we need more african american models. I'm not 5'6 or 5'7 but i feel i can be as strong as any other model. Thats why i really feel that being on this site will open up that opportunity for me. I believe it would expose me to the right people that could take me to the next level. I just know that i would be a very good candidate to whomever. I take modeling just as serious as any other job.
