I have been sculpting for over 30 years. Within the past 10 years, I have been producing ship and yacht figureheads. Although I have managed to complete a few pieces from photographs, I prefer to work with live models. Sometimes during the process, a different pose or expression will improve the piece. I have recently been contacted by a couple of yacht manufacturers to produce a number of pieces for boats presently under construct, and have been given license to be as creative as I wish with whatever subject I choose. I am seeking models right now to develop ideas. From those who contact me I will choose 10 (perhaps) more for modeling contract. The hours are long, but salary is hourly and paid daily.
