Dave Garvin

I am a creative, think outside the box person with an active sense of humor. I worked my way through college as a photographer (studio and freelance), but hadn't been behind the camera professionally for 20 years until I started Faces in the Crowd in 2007. Have a chance to cash out of corporate life and turn my hobby back into my business.

I have been running a full-spectrum marketing company for over ten years that I am in the process of selling. My clients are small to medium size companies throughout the Midwest.

Faces in the Crowd (FITC) is my new company. My energy will now be focused on the creative (concept, strategy, promotion) and the artistic (image). The FITC portfolio will be the library I draw from as I visualize marketing projects for my clients.

Most photographers make money by either charging people to take their photo or by selling the photos they have taken. My clients compensate me for helping them achieve their objectives. I never charge models for anything.

FITC is also my vehicle to move away from a “regular job” toward a “do what I damn well please” lifestyle.
