It's alive!
I have crawled out from the hole I've been living in during grad school and am getting back into modeling on a limited basis. What do I mean by limited basis? I am limiting myself to one shoot a week to prevent overscheduling and burnout (I am in school, after all) and I am prioritizing requests on the following basis:
-How much do I think I'd enjoy it?
-How useful will it be for my portfolio?
-Does it pay?
So yes, if for some random reason you desperately wanted to work with me, you could attempt to bribe me with money, but you will get farther by bribing me with interesting shoots that expand and strengthen my portfolio. I'm not averse to money, I'm just saying that I'm not in it for the money at this point.
My availability is also limited by school. This means that I am available on weekends and evenings (8 pm - 12 am) only. I can travel only on a very limited basis and only on weekends.
And a note: while I do try to stay on top of things and be in good communication with everyone, school often intrudes. I will respond to communication as soon as I can, but it is rarely possible for me to schedule a shoot last minute. Yes, even if you attempt to bribe me with cookies.
