About Me
Creative Statement
I am inspired by the opportunity to capture a person in a creative way that transcends their own self-image. The focus of my photography is not to simply take a photograph but to build a rapport between photographer and subject that creates something unique, almost spiritual. I strive to make people feel comfortable and make them laugh to entice them to let down their guard and reveal their inner spirit to the camera. I feel that a good portrait is a creative endeavor that can be simple while still maintaining complexity.
I have done so many different jobs in my lifetime. I can relate to people in ways that are foreign to most photographers and allows me to be more creative.Creative, unique, expressive- these three simple words define TWB Photography and the images that I strive to create. I look at myself as a portrait artist and as an artist I try to creatively capture the true beauty of each subject. I feel that this beauty that every person posseses creates their individuality.
In, my opinion, a photograph is more than simply an image of a person or thing: it is the expression of emotion, existence, and individuality of both the subject and the photographer. As the photographer, I am responsible for what is inside of the frame and what intent it conveys to the viewer. My current goal is to build an excellent book portraying my talent as a photographer and includes serious models who I can use for future projects Assumptions: Please understand if I TAG, COMMENT or send you a FRIEND request it means that I want to work with you. I will shoot them,it will depend on what are the photos going to be used for . , i am very particular about this all we need is more photos of naked chicks on a Harley but will not publicly display them. With the Internet so easily accessible and easy to copy images, I want the model to understand that I have their privacy as my primary concern for shooting. If you want them displayed publicly, then, you and I will select the best ones which we determine to be tastefully artistic. on Escorts may come to the shoot if it is cleared with me first i don't like suprizes ,i like to keep things on a open communication with every one I work with . let be professional, i perfear the escorts not to be someone that has a emotion attachment to the model . not counting the parents or garden that singes the paper work . they may not be in the immediate shooting area UNLESS ask for there help as I like to stay focus on the shoot not his or hers opeion. thank for reading this and hope to work with you .
Things to remember when shooting with TWB Photography:Do I do TFP OR TFCD? Only for my projects.
*Do You Pay your models sometimes⦠but am willing to do other ideas in return for your time.
- Willing to pay for Travel Expense
- Willing to pay for some outfits
- Willing to give to Charity
- Willing to pay for your Gasoline (fully you up)
2. Please be prompt and prepared for the scheduled shoot.
3. Please bring many clothes that you feel your best in with lots of color! (try to avoid white).Wardrobe
Bring lots, lots and lots of your favorite clothes!
Denim, dark grays, blacks, browns and layers are great for black and whites!
Vibrant solid colors are great for color photos!
Remember both tops and bottoms.
Stay away from whites, pastels and patterns.
4. Typically our shoots involve 4-5 hours in my studio in Black Mountain, NC. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS I HATE MYSPACE I DON'T HAVE TO CHASE PAGES ALL OVER THE NET. IF WE CHOOSE TO WORK TOGETHER CALL AND TALK BY PHONE .
