Over the years I've become more and more interested in creative photography and image making. I've been a musician all my life, as well as a songwriter, producer, and touring performer. I've been editing movies and videos for more than 8 years. Now I feel the need to extend my creative work and express my art in photography as well as music.
I've been working as an assistant to fashion photographer John Manning for about a year. I met him years ago when he did the photography for my first solo album. John and I frequently discuss the best ways to shoot models, and he shares with me his 25 years of experience in shooting models all over the world.
I take my work in photography as seriously as I do my work in music. So I'm always eager to collaborate with other serious people in the field. If you're a model who is serious about your work, someone who wants great additions to your book as much as I do, contact me. Otherwise let's not waste each other's time. I don't mind traveling, since I'm used to it from being on the road as a performer.
When I work with models I'm fair-minded. That means even though I'll approach the shoot with ideas and goals I want to achieve, I'm also eager to hear your ideas for the shoot and make sure you get the things you need. I know some photographers consider only their own needs when working with models, but I try hard to be fair to the people I'm working with. I'm always looking for new ideas and new people to work with, so if you like my approach to photography, I would like to hear from you.
