About Me

I've been shooting fashion for 15+ years, shooting mostly models and actors for agencies. I am not a freelancer, as I am locked into contracts with specific agencies, meaning that I shoot what the clients want to see what will sell you to them, the actor or model. I like the avant-garde photographers like Juergen Teller, Terry Richardson, Bil Brown, but my work is more commercial, dictated by the demands of my employers than my passion. Having said that, I do like to push the boundaries that a commercial market applies on my photography. Finding an individuals best angle and natural lighting are my specialty. I have trouble calling myself a FASHION photographer, for the shear LACK of fashions in the region of the country I live. I like that I care about the individuals I photograph, and understand my role in their lives as a model's portfolio is one of the top factors of their overall success.

I have a pretty good range. From the simple Actor's headshot, to fashion magazine editorial. I have photographed approximately 1000 people.

I'm a second generation Agent and am the Director of the High Fashion and Runway Divisions at Heyman Talent. I've also trained and developed, and placed more models with top national and international agencies than all other agencies in my region combined. I was blessed with having the best teacher, my mom, who wrote the training manual for John Cassablanca's models at Elite and was an advisor to Heinz Holba when he opened LA MODELS. (She turned down the Director's chair at LA Models)

I have worked as an international scout for the Japanese and I continue to work with developing agencies in the former USSR.

I also contribute my success to the many brilliant artists and stylists that have been by my side. Scooter Ray, Jenny Coleman, Liz Gehrke, Zeke Buck and many many many others.

I am also at
