Help Portrait is a group of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this coming holiday season. It is intended to provide free portraits to people in need whom ordinarily could not afford a portrait session with a professional photography studio.

Here in Barrie all of the professional photographers in town will band together to do just this. It takes place on December 12th (Saturday) from 9am to 4pm. Four venues will operate that day simultaneously where people can attend without having to travel too far to have their portrait taken.

So how can you help?

I'm looking for MUA's to help give people a light make over...just hide any blemishes etc. Its unpaid work, its all completely voluntary just as our services will be that day. Cosmetics will be sponsored, so I'm just asking you to donate your time
