About Me

Interested in doing something offbeat? Something accented with the surreal? Let's chat.

What do you need to know about me? Well...

I'm gregarious but a little shy. Easy to work with and open to your ideas and concepts.

I'm unpretentious and I appreciate the same in others (prima donnas are probably not going to mix well with my proletarian experience and vision of the world).

Oddly enough, I was once described as "The Dude of the photography world." Yes, it's a Big Lebowski reference and oddly enough, it's probably an apt caricature.

I love classic little British cars. I don't have a bike right now, but I spent many years seeing the world from the high side of a '67 Triumph. Classic Brits are in the blood. Maybe someday a Norton will end up in my garage... "ton-up boys unite for a cuppa at the Ace!"

I've been a musician all my life and play all sorts of odd instruments ranging from the Hurdy Gurdy to the Anglo-Saxon Lyre (as well as guitar). I love all sorts of music. Expect to hear an eclectic blend of world, classical, jazz, ethnic and rock at any studio shoots we do together! :-)

I'm married with two kids. Two cats, as well (both of which are adoptions).

I consider myself a film buff. I'm a huge fan of David Lynch, Ingmar Bergman, Werner Herzog, Nicolas Roeg, Martin Scorsese, and other great directors including, of course, Hitch. Love Soviet cinema. Shhh...don't tell anyone, but I'm also easily drawn into Kenneth Anger (Puce Moment my fave).
