About Me
Most of my creative life, I've primarily stuck to writing and painting, however, fairly recently, I've begun dabbling in photography as well. I'm very much an amateur however, I've been adequately impressed with the results that I've gotten thus far. Granted, there's always room for improvement. Personally, I feel that any decent artist with any genuine talent should be able to make something out of whatever it is they have to work with. So I consider these bare bones methods a challenge and even a test of whatever ability I may or may not have.
Lately I've been kind of obsessed with close-ups and a high contrast of light and shadow, and I certainly would like to continue this for a while, but am also interested in branching out a bit once this becomes stale and predictable. Much of the subject matter I deal with is of an erotic/sensual nature, however, this does NOT always have to involve nudity, granted I do like to use nudity, it's just not something that I demand. It's all about the particular model's comfort level. In my very limited experience, I've found that the more comfortable the model is, the better the photos turn out to be.
I'm mainly on here looking for models who are willing to work with someone very new. Though I am an amateur and use very low-tech methods, I do take this very seriously. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay for shoots as I make no money at this myself, and honestly, money isn't my primary motive. Though of course you'll get digital copies of all the photos, either on a CD or I can find a way to send them through email. I like to edit my photos after taking them, which takes quite a bit of time, but I'm willing to give you both the originals and the edited versions if you'd like. You must be able to come to me in Norman. As of right now, I use my very small efficiency apartment as my setting, but I'm always open to new ideas if you have them, I'd love to hear them.
I have a very open, friendly, and easy going personality and people tend to feel comfortable around me very quickly. I'm basically a soft-hearted art geek.
